Hyundai hasn’t given the us much information on the new IONIQ 6 N besides pictures (they are teasers, after all). However, there are some easter eggs in the pictures that we’ll discuss below.

Starting at the front end, the IONIQ 6 N will keeps the IONIQ 6’s newly-redesigned front end for 2026, which swapped rounder headlights to sleeker ones while also giving it a sleeker lower fascia.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 N will feature an updated rear design that differentiate it from the regular IONIQ 6. For starters, the N variant will have pixilated taillights that transition to small red dots that seemingly span the entire trunk, substituting the tailights that span the entire rear end of the standard IONIQ 6. It’s also hard to ignore the new, racey rear wing that Hyundai has placed on the IONIQ 6 N.

Through the side profile pictures of Hyundai provided, we can see the IONIQ 6 N has flared fenders, which suggests a wider stance. Judging by the tire smoke coming from the rear tires, it’s safe to assume that the IONIQ 6 N will boast a healthy dose of horsepower (hopefully the 641-horsepower from the IONIQ 5 N, but who knows).

For those who are unfamiliar, Hyundai’s performance division is designated by “N,” similar to how BMW’s performance division is designated by “M.” While Hyundai has expanded N to their gas-powered sedans, the introduction of N to the IONIQ 6 is Hyundai’s first high-performance electric sedan.

The new IONIQ 6 N joins Hyundai’s expanding performance options and will debut on July 10th at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
